I can get about 7 in if I keep it in the whole time til death, overkill usually. Your level pet should still have 403+ health (# more if beast?) before 3rd enemy comes in, which usually happens. Maybe I did something wrong, but my lvl 19 beast pet had only 20 health so died to 3rd pet.

This strategy worked almost all the time with just the P/P Nightshade Sprouting soloing it until end (which is quicker for sure). I added the Magma Wave pet to eliminate RNG. This will also allow likely non P/P breeds to be used by lowering the health of the Fire Starter before it comes in. If level pet is over 1200 health you can just forget 1st pet as they can surely absorb a 3rd backrow attack.

Inspiring Song is used to increase health pool of levelling pet. Broot is the one to carry the fight to victory in the end with Sunlight, Photosyntesis and Ironbark. Don't use Ironbark until Singing Sunflower is dead, as you want to save the first enemy as long as possible for max healing on your levelling pet and max damage on backline pets. The idea is just to kill the Firestarter before his AOE abilities come off cooldown The more Magma Waves you do the less chance your level pet will be killed from allowing a 3rd backrow attack. I can get about 7 in if I keep it in the whole time til death, overkill usually. Your level pet should still have 403+ health (# more if beast?) before 3rd enemy comes in, which usually happens.
