A little late to the party as I just started playing this expansion but I substituted darkmoon Turtle for Hydraling 1,1,1 starting with call lightning then shell armor and deep bites to win this fight. I also changed my strategy with the moonshell crab to do shell shield and renewing mists on cooldown taking a nice chunk out of squeezer. It can last much longer (edited)

Worked very smoothly. P/S Moonshell Crab was awesome and good ol' Crawdad never even entered the fight.

Same here, Melandroso. I kept Moonshell's shield and mists up and he lasted a little way into the final enemy pet. As you say, Crawdad just sat back and watched the show - didn't need him to enter the battle.

Worked very well with a P/P Moonshell Crab and found that, by weaving in Shell Shield and Renewing Mists, the crab was able to finish off Squirt and chip away a little bit at Squeezer's HP. Turtle and Hogs finished the mission admirably.

I did the same with Moonshell Crab but didn't have turtle, so I used Chuck with rip, surge and blood in the water, didn't need third pet

I didn't have a magical crawdad so used Strand Crab which has the same abilities. Worked first try!

I also ran a variation with the Emerald Turtle (1,1,1) instead of the Moonshell Crab.

After you pass, your Emerald Turtle is brought in (If you have the H/H breed, swap it in after the Magical Crawdad is brought in by Clubber)

Shell Shield
Emerald Bite until Clubber is dead

Squirt comes in
Shell Shield
Headbutt
Emerald Bite until Emerald Turtle is dead

Bring in your Darkmoon Turtle, and follow strat as indicated above

i figured that out also before reading your comment... great minds think alike i guess :-) (worked for me as well) tried as written a few times and it failed for me .. then decided to keep shell and mist active.. and never even needed the third pet :-)

I tried it out, and even modified the strat for a bit, but the more I ran it the more I realized I prefer speed over trying to only do it with 2 pets. Thank you both for your input.
