Substitutes:

1
Note: You have selected a substitute pet.
The strategy might fail if you use it with this pet instead of the one the strategy creator intended.

The substitute finder looks for these criteria in relation to the original pet:
  • Same family
  • Has the required skills
  • Has the required stats (if specified)
  • Ignores specific breed requirements for the main pet, as breeds can be very different for substitutes

Breed
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.
In Dragonflight Patch 10.2, the ability Time Bomb has been changed. This tag is marking strategies using Time Bomb so they can be reviewed.

did this with a levelingpet in the thord slot.. rnjesus was not my friend with the leveling td script, so go with something reliable in slot three

There is no leveling td script here. Generally, I don't recommend using single-pet fights for leveling, since the xp granted it negligible. If you're looking for something reliable in slot #3, because the rabbit isn't cutting it, I'd say a pet with Predatory Strike would be best.

Patsy wrote on 2019-10-31 13:32:33

I got 224 xp for my levelling pet (at level 23, he barely made it). Not worth the hassle next time!

works perfectly fine with H/H Val'kyr and S/S brown rabbit. At end of fight val'kyr had 1210/1806 health, brown rabbit had 1189/1400 health, and didn't use third pet.
Hardly any damage taken at all. Thanks for the great strategy!

Tried the strat on three other alts just to make sure. Each time, same outcome. Strat works perfectly.

Desa wrote on 2019-07-02 11:09:15

You can use any pet in second slot and just Pass. It will die and then you bring Ikky in:
Black Claw, Flock and its GG.

Pity wrote on 2019-07-03 17:37:56

This worked perfectly. Thanks!

Dragon wrote on 2019-07-03 15:21:24

Wasn't able to get it down with unborn + rabbit, did 3x Whelplings (Onyxian Whelpling, Dark Whelpling, Spawn of Onyxia -Used Shadowflame/Breath + Liftoff :)

Tuesdae wrote on 2019-07-01 02:57:46

I used Unborn and a Darkmoon Rabbit with Ikky as backup. Didn't need Ikky

Namyts wrote on 2019-06-29 07:07:26

I used a lvl 20 UV and a Alpine Hare S/B 222 and destroyed it.

If you have 0 of those Rabbit, hare... with 319 speed, then wait with Haunt, and use ability 1 what ever that is for you on the Val'kyr.

Pandragoon wrote on 2019-06-28 20:34:17

Doesn't work. He kills the Val'kyr and her haunt on her resurrection phase always misses.

garbage wrote on 2019-06-25 23:55:03

I one shot it several times with traditional WOMBO COMBO - Unborn / Ikky / Ikky, just follow regular combo and then finish with quills

Sadee wrote on 2019-06-26 01:05:51

This worked great ty :)
